| About usWelcome to Classic Wagen.co.uk.My name is Arron and I have been building and working on early VW's as a hobby for 15 years now. I served an apprenticeship with a large automotive company and my training lead to qualifications in patternmaking, modelmaking, and engineering, winning two awards one for apprentice of the year and the other an apprenticeship craft award along the way. My work revolved around research and development, building of prototype cars and also concept cars for large motor shows around the world. This type of work also lead me into metal fabricating and engineering which was also an important part of my hobby so I took great advantage in learning all the necessary skills. Working to an extremely high level of accuracy has been a very useful skill to have especially when restoring and modifying early VW's to a very high standard. In fact my whole job and the knowledge gained have played a huge part in the building and modifying of my own and other peoples VW's. I take great pride in what I do and will approach any job with the same professional manner whether it be servicing, a general repair or restoration work.
